Preludes & Fugues Opus 2: Fugue in C minor

Introducing Fugue in C minor, a 4-voice double fugue in the 24 Preludes & Fugues set. This fugue was composed prior to the prelude because the inspiration just came when trying to compose the prelude. It's a fast pace, colourful contrapuntal piece with strong dance-like rhythm and a dab of extended tonality which involves a bit more frequent and daring changes of tonality. It is a dense and very focused fugue but at the same time feel almost comical due to its skippy and playful first subject. The second subject is much more melodic and flowing to contrast with the first one. This is the first time that I think I have blended the two subjects together satisfactorily. Of course this is still incomparable to the master Bach's fugues and perhaps never will be.
