Preludes & Fugues Opus 2: Prelude in C-sharp major

A prelude in C-sharp major. It was written in just under three hours. It is much like a lullaby, with simple straight-forward melodies and harmony. This is also the first attempt to use a very simple ("primitive") AB structure, where B is in a relative minor key of A. This gives us not only a balanced, but symmetrical piece which I hope is not too blunt. Speaking of key, C-sharp major has all seven sharps, an unfamiliar key for me, so it requires extra effort to write and deal with those double sharp marks. This key is also bright and sounds "easy" in nature, so it makes sense to write a lullaby in this key.
